Saint Mary’s Unveils Historical Timeline Wall in Honor of 100-Year Legacy
May 15, 2025
As part of its centennial celebration, Saint Mary’s Regional Health System is proud to unveil a new historical timeline wall that commemorates 100 years of serving the River Valley. The installation, located in the hospital’s main entrance, visually narrates the hospital’s journey—from its founding in 1925 to the present—highlighting key milestones, medical advancements and community moments that have defined a century of care.
The timeline wall blends vintage photographs, notable events and narrative storytelling to honor the physicians, nurses, staff and community members who have shaped Saint Mary’s through the decades. It stands as a lasting tribute to the hospital’s enduring commitment to patient care, innovation and service.
“This display is more than a collection of dates—it’s a celebration of people, progress and purpose,” said Casey Willis, Chief Executive Officer at Saint Mary’s. “We hope that every visitor who walks this hall sees the heart behind our history and the strength of our commitment to this community.”
The unveiling is part of Saint Mary’s year-long centennial celebration, which includes a variety of events recognizing the hospital’s impact and ongoing mission of making communities healthier®.
The public is invited to visit the hospital and view the timeline during regular visiting hours.
