Saint Mary’s to Host Free Hands-Only CPR Class in Partnership with Pope County EMS
February 11, 2026
Saint Mary’s Regional Health System will host a free, come-and-go Hands-Only CPR class on Tuesday, February 24 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The event will take place in the hospital’s Front Meeting Room, accessible through the Main Entrance at 1808 W. Main Street in Russellville.
The class will be led by Jackie King, Chest Pain Coordinator at Saint Mary’s, in collaboration with Pope County EMS. Attendees will receive hands-on instruction in Hands-Only CPR—a quick, simple technique that can significantly increase a cardiac arrest victim’s chance of survival.
This session is designed for community members of all ages, and no registration is required. Participants may come at any time during the one-hour window.
“Hands-Only CPR is a lifesaving skill that anyone can learn in just a few minutes,” said Jackie King. “We’re excited to partner with Pope County EMS to offer this free training and empower our community to act confidently in an emergency.”
Saint Mary’s encourages families, individuals and community groups to stop by, learn the technique, and help strengthen the region’s emergency readiness.
