Honoring Mental Health Awareness Day

October 09, 2025

October 10 is Mental Health Awareness Day, a time dedicated to highlighting the importance of mental well-being. Saint Mary’s Regional Health System joins individuals and organizations across the country in raising awareness about the importance of mental health and encouraging open, judgment-free conversations.

Mental health conditions are common, yet many individuals continue to face barriers to care due to stigma or lack of access. At Saint Mary’s, the team at Turning Point Behavioral Health is committed to providing compassionate, professional care for those experiencing mental health challenges.

“Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health,” said Pam Myers, Director at Turning Point Behavioral Health. “We want our community to know that help is available, and seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.”

Saint Mary’s offers a full range of inpatient behavioral health services for adults, including psychiatric evaluation, medication management, individual and group therapy and crisis stabilization. Services are delivered in a safe and supportive environment by a multidisciplinary team of licensed mental health professionals.

If you or someone you care about is struggling, you don’t have to face it alone. For more information, visit www.saintmarysregional.com/behavioral-health.
