Saint Mary’s Rehab Center is dedicated to treating the needs of persons with disabilities from illness or accidents requiring physical rehabilitation. A complete range of therapies and services are provided under the supervision of the Rehab Medical Director. Our team-oriented concept of treatment enables us to give you the best treatment and services available, including the necessary encouragement to make each person as independent as possible.
Our goal is to insure a patient’s optimum level of recovery while providing cost-effective outcomes for each patient. To reach your goal, the Medical Director works with and coordinates the efforts of a team of professionals focusing on improving the function of each patient, in an effort to restore the patient to his/her fullest potential.

- Gait evaluation and training
- Ten (10) day evaluation of acute rehabilitation potential
- Family conference
- Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Training
- Psychological evaluation and counseling
- Wheelchair positioning
- Community re-entry activities
- Continuous Passive Motion (CPM)
- Home evaluation to assess need for adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
- Anti-inflammatory medications and medication management
- Pain management and relaxation training
- Stress management and relaxation training
- Family training and education
- Discharge planning
- Joint protection
- Energy conservation
- Residual limb care
- Gait training with prosthesis
- Balance training
- Splinting and orthotics
- Speech and cognitive evaluation and training
- Swallowing evaluation, training, and education
Saint Mary’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Services provides services for patients with one or more of the following diagnosis:
Orthopedic Conditions
- Hip fractures
- Multiple musculosketal impairments
- Multiple joint involvement, secondary to arthritis
Degenerative Neurological Disorders
- ALS; Guillian Barre’; Huntington’s Chorea; MS; Parkinson’s
Cerebral Vascular Accidents
- Stroke
Amputations
Neurological Disorders Secondary To Trauma
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Spinal Cord Injury
Other Disabling Conditions
Saint Mary’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Center accepts referrals from physicians, social workers, nurses, case managers, therapists, patients, and families.
