Are you a high school student interested in a medical career?

M*A*S*H* (Medical Applications of Science for Health) is a two-week summer camp that introduces high school sophomores and juniors to health careers.

Each year, students selected into Saint Mary’s M*A*S*H* program shadow in a variety of health care locations, learn medical terminology, take part in hands-on activities to learn medical procedures, and tour Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center. Students also take part in team-building activities, heart dissection and suturing, proper wrapping techniques and casting, as well as exploring a variety of health careers and education levels needed for different careers.

This free program offers students an exceptional opportunity to learn more about medical professions. Carrie Pelfrey, BSN, RN, who is Saint Mary’s Education Coordinator, leads the camp.

All pertinent information, deadlines and application requirements for the 2020 M*A*S*H  program are included in the downloadable application packet available below.
