THE COURIER Sunday, February 4, 2018 – Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center recently held its 38th annual employee awards banquet honoring staff for their many years of service and outstanding commitment to quality patient care.

Employees were celebrated for reaching milestone years of service ranging from 5 years to 45 years. A total of 71 employees were recognized for providing a combined total of 1,015 years of dedicated service to the patients, their families, physicians and staff of Saint Mary’s.

The highlight of the evening featured a series of special recognition awards presented by the administrative team to eight individuals devoted to excellence in every aspect of their care and service to others. Those receiving this year’s highest honors include:

Volunteer Excellence Award – Diana Stensland

Nursing Excellence Award – Paris Hatchette, RN and Tim Tanner, RN

Promise Star Award – Ren Castrogeres

Saint Mary’s Angel Award – Debbie Ellis

Team Leader Award – Carolyn Cook, RN MBA MNSc

Employee of the Year – Beverly Garcia

Lifetime Achievement Award – Alan Reams, PD MBA
