Saint Mary’s Volunteers held a training luncheon to introduce area First Responders to a car seat safety program W.H.A.L.E. “We Have A Little Emergency”. Representatives from Russellville Police and Fire Departments and Pope County EMS attended the training. Volunteer President Evelyn Denton provided instruction along with materials….
RN Sherry McClure, Director of Women’s and Children’s Services, will ensure that W.H.A.L.E. stickers are distributed to parents of newborns born at Saint Mary’s. In the event of an emergency, first responders will look for the stickers applied to car seats. The stickers will provide vital contact and limited health information for the child.
