Saint Mary’s CORF has received approval from the Arkansas State Health Department and CMS to change their name to Outpatient Therapy Center. The Outpatient Therapy Center will be considered a department of the hospital and as a hospital-based facility it will be exempt from the Medicare Therapy Cap. Medicare has imposed a therapy cap and after the patient reaches the therapy limit the patient would be responsible for their bill. This therapy cap does not apply to Saint Mary’s Outpatient Therapy Center. All of the comprehensive services available at CORF will still be available at the Outpatient Therapy Center.
